Eugène Fredrik Jansson (1862 - 1915). From his "blue period" to his lighter side of brushstrokes, Janssen always showed a predilection for the landscape of his homeland.
During his early years as an artist, he devoted much of his work to reflections night in Stockholm. Already recognized as an artist, financially stable but health affected by his kidney problems, blåmålaren changed his style and chose to paint another aspect of the city...the citizen...the male citizen...
